Item of the Week: this end table!

The Onda side table for Bloc Studios by Federica Elmo is a remarkable piece of furniture crafted from high-quality marble intervened with ombre varnishes. 

The whole series is a beautiful exploration of the fluidity and movement of water, combined it with industrial finishes. The collection includes 6 other objects, as an evolution of the shapes of the original Onda metal tables from 2017.

With the pandemic and increased time spent indoors, the shift towards biophilic design gained momentum, but this trend has been on the move since the 90s, when architect and author Stephen R. Kellert coined the term, developed the concept, and identified ways to incorporate its principles into the design of buildings and interiors.  

In a nutshell, biophilic design incorporates natural elements such as exterior lighting, vegetation, open ventilation, and materials like wood and stone, into interior spaces to create a connection with nature and promote sustainability.

Look no further than 'The Invisible Collection'. This luxury online platform features a carefully curated selection of handmade pieces from the world's top designers and artisans. The goal is to connect clients directly with creators, bypassing traditional distribution channels. 

"The Invisible Collection" name reflects the platform's unique concept of offering a collection of one-of-a-kind pieces not commonly found in typical showrooms. With just three physical locations worldwide, they recently opened their latest showroom in their hometown of Paris.
